HOW IT WORKS: The Uconnect 12 inch radio can function as yhour home base for music, news and information, vehicle settings, mobile device connections, and navigation. Press the Media button on the touchscreen to change to a radio mode

• Choose from AM, FM or Satellite
• Store your favorite channels to various preset buttons on the touchscreen

The Media Screen lets you select different sources like:

• Auxiliary input jack
• Bluetooth wireless
• Several USB ports

When you connect a compatible Apple or Android smartphone via a USB port you get access to a variety of apps including:

• Text messages
• Phone calls and voicemail
• Maps
• Music
• Podcasts

To pair your phone to the Uconnect system via Bluetooth

• Make sure your vehicle is parked and the ignition is in the ACC or ON position
• Press the Phone button on the Uconnect touchscreen. (if no phones are connected, the system will ask if you’d like to pair a mobile phone)
• Select Yes
• The system will begin searching for Bluetooth connections
• Go to settings on your compatible smartphone and make sure that Bluetooth is on
• When the Uconnect system is recognized on your phone, tap Uconnect and accept the connection request
• When prompted, verify the PIN and accept the connection request by tapping Yes on your Uconnect touchscreen and PAIR on your smartphone

The touchscreen can also access the Comfort Settings and customer programmable features, so you can easily organize the Main Menu bar of the Uconnect display with simple drag and drop. Download the Uconnect App for remote access to your vehicle to allow locating, starting, locking and unlocking all from your mobile device. To use Siri Eyes Free first make sure Siri is enabled on your iPhone:

• Select settings
• Select Siri
• Enable Siri

Once Siri is enabled on your iPhone, make sure y our iPhone is paired to the Uconnect System To talk to Siri:

• Push and hold – then release – the VR button on your steering wheel
• You’ll hear Siri’s familiar double beep, and Siri will pop up on the touchscreen. (Siri is ready to receive questions and voice commands)

Siri uses your car’s microphone and audio system:

• Speak clearly while facing ahead
• A good cellular connection is required

DRAG-AND-DROP MENU BAR Mix and match the Uconnect System’s menu bar to fit your lifestyle With the drag-and-drop menu bar, you can easily customize your touchscreen with the features and services you use most:

• Press the Uconnect icon on the main menu bar to view all the available apps
• Tap and hold any one of the icons to drag and drop into your personalized menu bar at any time

You can change the icons as often as you like.

• Add the Travel Link icon so local weather forecasts are handy ona  raod trip
• Add the Heated Seats icon in the fall and remove it in the spring
• Apps are always accessible from the apps drawer

DO NOT DISTURB To avoid being disturbed while driving, use the Uconnect System’s Do Not Disturb feature to silence calls, alerts and notifications:

• For those times when you feel the need to silence  your phone for a while

Let’s say you’re receiving too many notifications because of a group text, and you don’t want any distractions:

• Simply tap Do Not Disturb on your Uconnect Touchscreen to silence the notifications
• A helpful counter keeps track of any incoming calls and texts

You can set the feature to automatically reply with a standard or custom message when  you receive a call or text:

• The standard message says: “I am driving now. I will get back to your shortly”
• Or, customize the message: “Family’s in town and I’m showing them around, I’ll call you later”.

• Select Apps
• Choose A-Z to sort apps alphabetically
• Or, press and drag any app to arrange the icons as you prefer

SPLIT SCREEN DISPLAY Choosing split screen on your Uconnect 12.0 with Navigation allows access to two features at once:

• Tap Home
• Choose the two features you want to display

To swap cards:

• Tap the arrow
• Tap the X to change your selection
