Woody’s Automotive Group Donates Over $14 thousand in engines to Tech School
Woody’s Automotive Group in Chillicothe, Missouri In Partnership with Chrysler Training Center Donates Over $14 thousand in engines to Tech School.

Today, in partnership with Chrysler Training Center, Woody’s Automotive Group in Chillicothe, Missouri donated 3 new engines to the Automotive Service Technology program at Grand River Technical School in Chillicothe, Missouri.
The engines, worth approximately $14,000 consist of a 1.8 LIter Dual Overhead Cam, 4.0 Liter Dual Overhead Cam, 2.7 Liter Dual Overhead Cam which typically are installed in a Dodge Caliber, Dodge Nitro and Dodge Avenger respectively.
According to Randall Gann, Service Manager at Woody’s Automotive Group, GRTS will be using the engines to introduce advanced engine operations for todays technology to their students. Mr. Gann further explained the huge demand for trained technicians in the Automotive Technology field. These trained technicians can typically start out with a salary range of $30k – 40K /yearly.
Mr. Gann received his training at GRTS and continues to be very impressed with the program and how it builds a good foundation for anyone starting out in the Automotive Service Technology Field. Mr. Estes was his instructor when he graduated in 1994. He worked for Woody’s Dodge Jeep Chrysler for one year before starting his own business, Autotech in 1996. He has worked for Woody’s Automotive Group since 2010.
