Meet the Wow Women of Woody's Automotive Group and some of the community events we have organized!
Yes, we are new, we have a new logo, website and name, but community support has always been a strength of Woody's Dodge Jeep Chrysler and The New Woody's Automotive Group is committed to strengthening what we have always done well. We will be right here working with you to make our community the best it can be! Wow! Read more of our Wow philosophies at Wow, We're Different!
Woody's is deeply proud to sponsor the
Special Olympics in the upcoming Poker Run that will be held June 8, 2013. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and Kickstands up at 9:00 a.m. The cost is $25 for Individual riders, or $45 for Couples. The Run will begin in Chillicothe at Hy-Vee and the route will be Brookfield, Macon, Kirksville, Linneus, Chula and back to Chillicothe. Come out and help support the Special Olympics, it's such a great cause.

A creative way of showing appreciation for those who serve our community through working with others was recently announced by Woody’s Automotive Group in Chillicothe MO. Essentially if you are a Church Pastor or work for the Police Department, Hospital, Prison, Fire Department, Military, municipality or in the education system will become eligible through their H.R. personnel to acquire free vehicle service for their vehicle. All year long Woody's Automotive Group will be giving free oil changes to those who serve our community. "Woody's is grateful and proud to be able to honor our local public servants by giving back to those who give to humanity everyday via their profession" said Brent Kline owner of Woody's Automotive Group in Chillicothe. "We are truly blessed to live in such a wonderful community and we want to say thank you all year round to the hard workers whose career is to serve and better the lives of others." Kline stated. Each month Woody's will submit up to 40 free oil changes to the above mentioned organizations. According to Woody's the organizations will be able to use these free oil changes as incentives, for contests, birthdays, employment anniversary or as part of meeting giveaways or any way administration chooses to benefit the workers. Woody's felt that this type of program was timely and appropriate due to chronically very difficult economic times. More information concerning the offering can be found at WOWWOODYS.COM.

The book, "25 Truths" is for anyone who desires to become a better person and to live a more fulfilling life.
We are fortunate enough to have Ed Douglas, the author of this book, as an active member of our community here in Chillicothe and Livingston County, Missouri.

This year, Ed has graciously decided to speak publicly of the values presented in his book. This is a great opportunity for our children, family, and friends to be exposed to excellent character education that many believe is lacking in our community's young people.
Some examples of the "Truths" in this book are:
Truth 12: Learn what brings true happiness
Truth 15: Never Surrender
Truth 21: Get as much education as possible
Truth 18: Set goals and write them down.
Ed is available to give seminars on his book, '25 Truths: Writing Wisdom for a Better Life"

Church groups, student groups (future business leaders, scouting, high school classes, athletic teams & others), leadership groups, parents and children as well as service clubs are also all appropriate venues for his remarkable presentation.

Chillicothe High School student, Miranda Mammen, has earned a position on the Missouri State High School Rodeo Team and will travel to Rock Springs, Wyoming for the 64th annual National High School Finals Rodeo July 15th - 21st.
Mammen earned her place on the team in the pole bending event by placing 4th out of 51 competitors in the state event. The year long process included competing in 20 different rodeo's and 3 rodeos at the state finals. Mammen also finished 9th out of 45 competitors in Barrels, but only the top four in an event qualify for the national rodeo.
Mammen is the daughter of Terry and Jackie Mammen and granddaughter of Larry and Karen Jones of Wheeling and Jerry and Sandy Mammen of Chillicothe. Congratulations Miranda!!
